We use pentaho and some tools we developed on top of it, and on our general usage we can really boost memory consumption to over 1 gig without much of an effort... :)

Ok, adding our entire team here. It won't be easy to give you exact reproduction steps, but we can definitely point to a metrics site and try to get a test environment setup.
How would you think it would work best? We're absolutely available to guide you / show you / test / whatever

Just a small add-on to the subject; This is not something specific to pentaho itself, our tools are standard html / javascript / ajax tools that just happen to reflect this high memory usage pattern.

Output from about:memory (the improved one in nightly builds) would be interesting!

I'm going to close this due to a lack of info. If anyone has some data, please feel free to re-open.
