Tabs added in popup windows currently break these windows. We've addressed or are addressing this in bug 586234, bug 606678, bug 610203 and bug 641090, but even if we cover all cases in stock Firefox, extensions can still call addTab in popups. We should do something about this, like actually doing something useful or throwing an exception.
