With NoScript installed some Yahoo URLs open 4 TweetMeme/4 Yahoo tabs

This did never happen with Firefox 3.x

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. NoScript installed with only yahoo.com and yimg.com allowed
2.
3.
Actual Results:  
8 tabs open

Expected Results:  
Javascript requests from URLs not allowed result in no action at all.

It happens several times a day to me. This problem never occurred with Firefox 2.x or 3.x. I am using NoScript and Yahoo since years.

What happens with NoScript or even all add-ons disabled? Also please give more details in how to reach that state.

The effect does not happen if:
1) NoScript does allow all URLs/domains of the problematic URLs
2) NoScript is disabled
3) JavaScript is disabled and NoScript is disabled
4) JavaScript is disabled and NoScript is enabled

I have the latest NoScript version installed and pretty much run it with its default settings. yahoo.com and yimg.com are in my whitelist of domains to allow.

I am sorry I can't give more details how to reach that state since I don't know exactly what the state is. I run Firefox with a couple of non-standard settings though, mainly links are not underlined and there is no bookmark bar displayed. However I did that with 2.x. and 3.x too and there never has been such a problem with NoScript at all.

If you think the problem is with NoScript, please tell me and I'll contact the author.
Your comment 2 indicates that this problem is related to NoScript. You should get in contact with the add-on authors to get it solved. Feel free to reference this bug number.

Just for completeness and/or if somebody else comes this way:

It indeed is/was a problem with NoScript, the current stable version (2.0.9.9) does show this behaviour. After being referred to the current development version, the problem is gone.

That means as soon as NoScript 2.1.0 is released this problem should be history.
