oh, the jar.nm file was a bit more complex than I first imagined. Will need to look into how we'll do the XP< #ifdef specifically.

Note we now (since about 30 minutes) have a lightning-aero.css that is only applied on aero platforms. The corresponding css file can be reached via chrome://lightning-aero/skin/lightning-aero.css.

This is my first patch for Lightning. I'm don't know if ui-r is needed.

I'm making patches by hand, and I took the image from andreas's patch. If it doesn't work, feel free to change the patch.

Richard, thank you very much for your patch! Your patch almost applied, it was just a whitespace and a typo. I have combined your patch with the other patch from bug 639799 so that all platforms work at once. Thank you very much for working on a release relevant bug, your patch is much appreciated. If you are interested in contributing more Lightning patches please let me know and I'll set you up with all that you need (build environment details, list of good first bugs, etc).
