Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 The touchpad on my HP elitebook (synaptics with latest drivers) stops working when I open a tab and browse to something that uses a plugin (like a PDF using PDF X-change or Adobe Reader) in tab. If I switch back to the other non-plugin firefox tab and try to scroll with the touchpad, it fails to work. Mouse wheel scrolling works fine though. This started around 4.0b11 or 4.0b12. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a new firefox window 2. Open a tab with nytimes.com and try scrolling via trackpad 3. Open tab and browse to a page that loads a PDF in browser via a plugin (like adobe reader or PDF-X-change) 4. Scroll in the plugin 5. Go back to the nytimes.com tab and try scrollingvia the trackpad Actual Results: Scrolling via trackpad doesn't work Expected Results: Scrolling via trackpad should work no matter what
Same here. Tried with both latest HP driver and latest Synaptics driver. Issue goes away when closing problematic tab. User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
