I want the status bar back in Firefox 4, as an OPTION in the View->Toolbars menu. If you just don't do this, i'm done with firefox, and i'll make sure to drag as many people with me away from fx as i possibly can ("direct marketing", blogs, you name it). 

This is INSANE what you're doing, to just cut such a core piece of a browser's UI that users have been used to for decades. INSANE.

I know that others have posted quite a bunch of issues on this topic, but i'm still adding a new one, because you guys should really wake up in terms of how you treat your public (or you're gonna be at 5% browser share in 2 years from now, you's no longer the only option around you know).

thanks sdrocking, i'll try it, maybe fx will stand another chance on my laptop after all. maybe. (still, this doesn't make the UI design change utterly insane)
