User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 I have adobe reader 9.4.3 I you are viewing a pdf file in browser and click on the firefox menu so that it opens and then click on text in pdf, the menu will not close like it does if you click outside of the pdf. If you click on a blank white space in the pdf sometimes it will close and sometimes it wont but if it is text it never closes. Also I've noticed the same thing happening in several other instances, such as on youtube.com if you click on the red play bar (where you drag the circle) or underneath that where the play/pause button is if you press play/pause or change the volume or click expand or just click to the right of the volume, menu will not close. Also if you right click on the video, but I dont know if that is a mistake. Also the first time you repeat the process by LEFT-clicking on the video, the menu closes, but after that if you left click on it again, IT WILL NEVER CLOSE. The same thing as everything mentioned above also hapens with all drop down menus, such as bookmarks and Tools, except the SEARCH ENGINE BAR on top left, which works correctly at all times. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.View pdf 2.Click on Firefox Menu 3.Click on Text in pdf Actual Results: Menu did not close Expected Results: closed the menu
Confirmed on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:5.0a2) Gecko/20110412 Firefox/5.0a2
I think that's a dupe but can't find the other bug I was looking for.
Maybe Bug 404297
Thanks Alice. I have asked over there.
