Steps:
-------
1)Login at: https://addons.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/users/edit#user-profile
2)If the profile contains an image already delete it and add a new image
(or)if profile does not contain an image, first add an image,delete it and add a new image

result:  new image added is not getting displayed.
Older image associated with the profile is displayed always

On following the steps in comment 0, the default avatar thumbnail is shown instead of the newly uploaded profile pic. Behavior can be seen @ https://addons.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/user/5540398/

So, the original bug is fixed, the new one in comment 3 is really bug 653042
