User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_7; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.21.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.5 Safari/533.21.1 Build Identifier: v.3.1.10 Thunderbird gets into an infinite loop if Samba server is not available. So, if I put attachment to an email from a Samba server, next time I start to attach a file to an email, Thunderbird tries to open the previous location and fails. A message pops up telling me I don't have access to that server. When I click on 'ok', the message pops up again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. send an email, and add an attachment. browse to a samba server to get the attachment 2 [review]. disable the samba server so it is no longer accessible 3. compose an email, and try to add an attachment. message pops up saying 'no permission to access server ...'. clicking 'ok' causes the message to pop up again. Actual Results: message pops up saying 'no permission to access server ...'. clicking 'ok' causes the message to pop up again. Expected Results: If the location used previously for adding an attachment is no longer available, pick a different location for the attachment browser. causes tool to hang - must force quit to continue using tool. no way to add attachments.
