Details
This is like bug 648480, but for Linux/X11 with OpenGL. We might already be done here, but someone needs to verify this and/or fix it on desktop Linux.
This definitely works (as of January this configuration passed all reftests) but we might need some more texture-from-pixmap hackery to get optimal efficiency. Also, our X11 shadow-layers code XSync()s twice per transaction (sigh), which might bite on benchmarks. Will need to test.

For now, this is not a supported configuration. This might change in the future.
