Steps:
-------
Disable Java Script in Tools->Options->Content: Uncheck the option "Enable Java Script"

1) Log in at https://addons-next.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/addon/html-validator/
Note: 
-add-ons with Contribution option which has the link with the label in the format:Support this add-on:contribute
-There is no default contribution amount set
2) Click on Contribute button
3) Log in to the Paypal page

Observed Result: Contribution amount is set to $5 USD

Note: With java script enabled:desired amount can be set in the contribution pop-up
By design, this the setting DEFAULT_SUGGESTED_CONTRIBUTION in settings.py.
