Hello! There is a problem with Thunderbird when formatting text in HTML. While using Control key it is possible to select multiple text blocks (multiple words). But with that selection is is not always possible to change font to bold (usually it changes only one word, but sometimes all selected). Also when changing colour words can disappear or change their place in text.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select multiple text blocks (ctrl can be used for that).
2. Change font to bold

Some comments on my picture "testcase":

1. Mark few words. (Выделяем несколько кусков текста)
2. Make marked text bold (Ctrl+B). (Делаем полужирным). it doesn't matter how we make words bold (Ctrl+B, toolbar button "B" or menu).
3. Make marked text normal (repeat Ctrl+B). So, only first word usually is marked! (делаем нормальным, выделение пропало)

This works for me with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; rv:5.0a2) Gecko/20110505 Thunderbird/3.3a4pre. 

Two things , does it happens in -safe-mode (see http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Safe-Mode) ?

And can you maybe detail a little bit more your steps to reproduce ?( does it need to be in Cyrillic for instance ) ?

The problem occurs even if i use the -safe-mode.

This problem is not language specific. I was able to reproduce this problem in English letter.

Can be easily reproduced here if one of the selection is in end of a line.
