Archiving legacy content is now a requirement for being able to move forward with the mozilla.org/.com merge.
If there is no plan to manually migrate this old embedding content in the short term, we will go ahead with moving this content off of www.mozilla.org and putting it someplace where you can decide what to do with it on your own schedule. That may be either the www-archive.mozilla.org site or an archive section of MDN.
Apologies for the last minute nature of this -- I had thought bug 143387 covered this but I just looked back over that and saw it applied to just a subset of the embedding pages on the site.

In r90322 I archived the /projects/embedding files, moved the existing redirects into the main redirect file and set up a redirect for the www.mozilla.org/projects/embedding page to point to the main Embedding Mozilla page on MDN.
For any page without a redirect, an automatic redirect will take people to the page on the archive site.
