If I do things that operate on large sets of messages, Thunderbird crashes on MacOS-X, in this case I tried to order my message in an imap mailbocx by the from field

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Klick on the from field header

Actual Results:  
Crash

Expected Results:  
My list of messages in the mailbox ordered alphabetically by the from field

I get this kind of errer very frequently 10-15 times a day, usually when handling large sets of messages.

thanks. this is a known issue described in bug 593132. There is no ETA for this getting fixed, but the workaround (cited in the bug) is to avoid sorting on subject.
