Thunderbird crashes, when switching to another imap folder.
This happens intermittently, the larger the folder that I want to switch to the more commmon is the problem. Happens quite often.

Reproducible: Sometimes

1.Switch to a folder with a lot of messages

thanks. this crash is caused by a bug when sorting the folder by subject. the details are described in bug 593132. There is no ETA for a fix, but the workaround is to avoid sorting on subject. see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=593132#c18
