It also might be a good idea if a website person would support the release driver on release day to get this done.

For making the SeaMonkey 2.1 RC 2 public, we'll need to update the website.

This can happen once mirror saturation is good enough, though it's usually a good idea to also have final_verification run and OK before going public on the website.

We can certainly locally prepare this work prior to the "Go" for release. I am filing now so that the prep work can happen, its not a "we need this at this very second" bug.

Ok, with my desktop out of commission I don't have a website tree handy, and was a PAIN for me to get cvs up and working in a sane way for me (after so long).

I just pushed rc2 to mirrors since the issues seem resolved. You can push this to websites anytime after 3am EDT.

Once it is done, I'll send out the announcement a bit later.

Also just to say it in one singular place (unsure if it needs a new bug/relnote) but this release (2.1) is going to have debugQA shipped with it. It was not intentional but given our late-schedule on the release, we're not spinning a build3/rc3 for it, and will plan to ship anyway.

As a note, every day we have a job running one time that wipes the dest website clean and builds all of it newly, all other rebuilds are additive, i.e. just like one clobber build a day and all others are dep builds ;-)
