Seen while reviewing Beta 5 crash stats. This crash spans all versions: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?signature=hang%20|%20NtUserSetWindowPos. 3193 crashes in the last week across all versions.

issue is not unique to flash.  in trying to get a flash dump, i did see reports with quicktime on the stack.

our internal bug reference is #3068833.

This hang pair combination with signature - hang | mozilla::plugins::PPluginInstanceParent::CallNPP_HandleEvent(mozilla::plugins::NPRemoteEvent const&, short*) is the #2 combination on FF 9.0. There are several bugs with the later signature - bug 540094, bug 647400 and bug 688992.

we could use some steps to reproduce if they are available.  our dev believes the dump to be corrupt and cannot determine the issue.

from our devs...  through code inspection, there's not much that can be done.  we have a null check in place already but to get the root cause, steps to reproduce would be needed. 

if anyone can help with that, it would be greatly appreciated.

looking back at the data the original uptick happened end of April/beginning of Mar 2011.  this was during the release of FF4 and Flash Player 10.2 (spicy).
