As given on bug 627595 we currently also let Firefox install extensions which are bundled with the application. That's causing us major headache especially for the feedback extension which is always not compatible when we do the first major updates after a merge. So we have to disable the installation of those extensions. The only problem is bug 660898, which means we can't use 'extensions.enabledScopes' for it but have to live with the workaround by using 'extensions.installDistroAddons' instead.

Works perfect. We now can run updates from 5.0a2 => 6.0a2. Marking as verified fixed. I will deploy the new version across our machines.
