Currently the Windows jumplist items use the default Firefox icon. We could do better.

See similar Bug 659788 for Thunderbird, it has more info and a proposed solution.

I'm not sure. I think your patch does not cover the Tasks section of the jumplist, does it? This bug could cover that section. I guess we could adjust the title of this bug appropriately.

Ah ok yes, Bug 549472 only does support for shortcuts.  I updated the title for this task.

So this bug is only needed if we decide to pull the task icons out of theme resources and apply them. Alternatively we might just embed the ico files in the exe, in which case the work here isn't needed.
