Since work is being done to the Sync page, I'd like to request the removal of the "For Older Versions" section which references the Sync Add-on. The Sync Add-on is no longer supported and will be taken off AMO eventually so I'd like to clean up any links to it.

Thanks for getting this going. Can someone give me a timeline of when this will happen so I can make sure the proper communication is sent out at the right time.

Hey Jennifer,
Can you confirm that this is what you are looking for:
http://www.diigo.com/item/image/1981d/0or2
Remove all copy:
"For Older Versions
If you’re still using Firefox 3.5 or 3.6, Sync isn’t a built-in feature but you can still make it work. First, download the add-on to your desktop, then restart Firefox and follow the steps to create a Sync account."
---
There are also references to Sync on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/mobile/home/faq/ - do you want to file a separate bug, or update this one to reflect any changes there as well?

Since I did not read anything about the add-on, we can leave this bug as is. I will go through the page and open another bug if necessary. Thanks for bringing this page to my attention.
