These files won't be in your existing mozillamessaging.com repository, you'll need to check out part of the mozilla.org repository, where the new Thunderbird site is being stored. All localizers have been granted access. You can:

svn co svn+ssh://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/

Please translate the 2 files in the mozilla.org svn repository for Thunderbird 5 in-product pages, that is:

/he/thunderbird/5.0/start/index.html
/he/thunderbird/5.0/whatsnew/index.html

You can also attach your translations as a zip archive to this bug or as individual text files and Milos or I will then commit them for you.

The pages on the staging server are:
http://www-stage.mozilla.org/he/thunderbird/5.0/start
http://www-stage.mozilla.org/he/thunderbird/5.0/whatsnew
Please note that I'm not seeing dir=rtl (or CSS equivalent direction:rtl) on both pages, which is necessary for some languages.

Also, do you mind if I'll add an item to the whatsnew page (addons section) to let users know about the availability of spell checking addons?
Committed revision 90859.

This commit includes translation to Hebrew of both files, adding spell checker dictionaries addons link to whatsnew, and removing the AMO language parameter frm AMO links.

This commit is still not final, and there should be direction:rtl added to the pages, and maybe also mention that we provide Hebrew support on our local community site.

As for the whatsnew page, body{direction:rtl} seems to be enough, while the start page would need some more extra care.
Oh, before I forget! I'll have to do yet another content change, in order to add suggestion to install the bidiui addon, as they application is useless for us without that extension.

Committed revision 91175.

Committed revision 91755 with hardcoded dir=rtl on the <html> element and fixing a small typo. Should be safe to push to production.

Please note that while I'm maintaining the translation I'd very appreciate if someone from the Tb team could at least confirm that they are tracking these issues and are open to our suggestions we ask for in these bugs.
Depends on: webrtl
Sancus, can you answer Tomer's concerns please? And can we close this bug to clean up the webdashboard?
rtl issues are on my radar, closing this as translation is completed.
