Details

There's a quite large image present in the linked blog post, but it's scaled to a more reasonable size. However, scrolling while the image is in view is extremely sluggish, something that's very noticeable compared to the rest of the page which is very smooth and responsive.
Probably because we rescale on each paint, right?

Seems like something 2d hardware accel should handle.  But we don't have that on Mac yet.
