Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv7l; rv:7.0a1) Gecko/20110624 Firefox/7.0a1 Fennec/7.0a1
Currently when one begins a text selection, one is capable of dragging a handle over multiple objects such as images and embedded objects. The Android stock browser will confine the selection by not allowing the user to select the objects that are non-text.
Fennec should confine to text only.

Madhava - Should Fennec duplicate the desktop approach at copying *everything* when you select all, or should mobile confine the focus to text and only text selection*.
* (when sending SMS messages with selected text, I don't want to mistakenly send pictures and what not, even if they are selected but not copied)

This may be a limitation of the android clipboard in Froyo and earlier, which only supports text selection. Gingerbread adds support for selection more types of data.

Why?

Again, why?

how would that happen mistakenly?
