opening a new bug specifically for the next week's merge. 
we can keep bug 661310 to finalize discussion on aurora messaging. 

goal: promote aurora to 4.0 b1-b12 users
3-5 snippets
live date: july 5th

3 general promotions. (download aurora)
2 features promotions. features promotions TBD.

Grace, could you pull out some of the lines from the other bug that are directionally what you're looking for and post them here (I think we had at least a few that were pretty close)? I can then rework them to be more in line with what we've been discussing. I think that's going to be easier than starting from scratch again. Thanks!

I'm a little unclear on the distinction you're trying to make there, but hopefully these will satisfy the request:

sorry for the back and forth on this. 
as a follow up from our conversation earlier.

we like: 
"Get the latest Firefox features first in Aurora."

The other snippets do not have very much context of what Aurora is. Since Aurora is still so new, we should  provide a bit more context on what Firefox Aurora is. We should mention providing feedback, but how do we differentiate we need to make sure we can differentiate Aurora from beta. We need to give Aurora it's own exciting and cool factor tone of why they should download Firefox Aurora and give us feedback versus beta. 

i hope that helps. 

we just need one or two more and then we are good for the purpose for this bug.
