Steps to reproduce:
For a few days (maybe 3 or 4, cannot remember right), clicking on a link in Shredder doesn't open browser.
Actual results:
Clicking on a link is broken.
Expected results:
Opened Nightly to get URL loaded.

Here is what I get in error console :

You may need to reset your default browser.

Already tried. I verified that Mozilla Firefox (Nightly) is the default browser in Gnome 3. Will try again and report.

Fred what version of gibc comes installed on your system ?

On my archlinux : glibc 2.14 and if it cares, gcc 4.6.1

http links as far as I can tell. And when I click on "report scam mail" (or something like this), same behaviour.

Hrm. How about add-ons? Do you have any add-ons enabled? If so, try disabling them one by one to see if that resolves the problem.

Sorry for being too silent. Real life was on me. The "problem" was a corrupted (don't know why) mimeTypes.rdf. I was able to fix the bug by grabbing an old version from a backup profile.
Closing as invalid ?!
