We need to disable updates on the aurora channel starting Wednesday morning until things stabilize.

We actually created a mozilla-aurora-test directory for this, so that QA can check updates to the new Aurora builds before we re-enable them. It's already set up with the symlinks to make mac updates work. Could we deploy this instead ? If not I can fix up aus2-staging and we can do it next time.

I've effectively used this in
  http://hg.mozilla.org/build/buildbot-configs/rev/469d01c83d44
because
* right this instant we have the 2011-07-06 nightlies in mozilla-aurora-test/ (aka on the auroratest channel). Those don't have the tracemonkey merge and need to be tested by ashughes tomorrow morning, before getting pushed to aurora
* tracemonkey merged today, and will be in the next set of nightlies. This patch will shove the snippets for those in mozilla-aurora-bug669305/

To enable updates to the non-tracemonkey nightlies we rsync from mozilla-aurora-test/ to mozilla-aurora/. Then we can revert this patch, reconfig, and rsync from mozilla-aurora-bug669305/ to mozilla-aurora-test/ for QA.

This part is done.

The tm merge snippets are live now on mozilla-aurora-test if QA wants to look at them. 

I'll take care of re-enabling all updates in bug 669996.
