User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:5.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0.1
Build ID: 20110707182747

Steps to reproduce:

Browsed to the About dialog. Clicked on the check for updates button, but firefox could not find version 5.0.1
I'm using el localized version, with auto-updates check not turned on.
Had to download the new version from the website.

Expected results:

Should have notified me of the new version update 5.0.1
Severity: normal → major
Firstly the update isn't pushed to all users at once, to lessen the loads on the servers. Secondly 5.0.1 is for Mac OSX only. It's to fix a crash problem caused by deprecated api.
