User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:5.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0.1 Build ID: 20110707182747 Steps to reproduce: Browsed to the About dialog. Clicked on the check for updates button, but firefox could not find version 5.0.1 I'm using el localized version, with auto-updates check not turned on. Had to download the new version from the website. Expected results: Should have notified me of the new version update 5.0.1
Firstly the update isn't pushed to all users at once, to lessen the loads on the servers. Secondly 5.0.1 is for Mac OSX only. It's to fix a crash problem caused by deprecated api. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/5.0.1/releasenotes/
