Steps to reproduce:

Highlighted a message for deletion, then clicked on red 'X' (Delete this message) icon on the programme task bar (Note: same issue with red 'X' icon on message pane task bar).


Actual results:

A "Compact folder?" option box popped up.


Expected results:

The highlighted message should have been deleted.
