Thunderbird 7.0.1 still has no timestamps on Error Console entries.
This bug has been marked as a duplicate of one that was first reported in 2002! I'm trying to describe errors that may be associated with a bug I've reported (700229), and the lack of timestamps makes it impossible to tell which errors may be related to which actions I took, or whether some of them occurred together. Surely that knowledge would be helpful to developers trying to figure out other bugs?
The error console is a Toolkit component, Thunderbird and the other Mozilla applications are just using it. Hence, any action to add such functionality will have to occur in bug 122213 (a patch was posted there but apparently abandoned).
