Steps to reproduce:

allow image attachments that are displayed inline to be scaled;

The images are way too large if they are higher resolution. The zoom option works only in a VERY limited range (once/first works, subsequent requests to reduce don't. This issue is a complaint I got from most of my family and friends whom I recommended Thunderbird (3 votes from family, 5 from friends) :-)
