In my user interview with Janet, she requested that we add an "IRC handle" field to developer profiles. She noted that the most active MDN contributors hang out in IRC, but that few of them use the same username for both IRC and the MDN. She noted a recent incident in which she was unable to identify a contributor she was helping on IRC.

Oddity: code's out and running fine, but the IRC nickname doesn't actually show up in the profile.

See https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/profiles/ubernostrum/ for example; when I click 'edit', I can see the IRC nickname field, and it's correctly populated with the name I've entered (which is stored in the DB), but for some reason the profile detail template just isn't showing it.

And now the mystery's solved; the whole card block only shows if a title, org or location is filled in. So maybe it'd be better to move that to a different part of the page...
