Steps to reproduce:

I install Thunderbird 6.0 beta, and wanted to check for updates using Help > About


Actual results:

The about dialog show me that Thunderbird is set to "default" channel and so it's not providing beta updates.


Expected results:

The about dialog should show beta channel and allow me to update when a new beta is out.

This is a build created from the Ubuntu team, and thus is not produced by us.

Our own builds are fine.
