Currently, Firefox comes with a pre-defined set of accessibility keys / keyboard shortcuts. This brings some confusion when other browsers using another set of keyboard shortcuts are installed on the same machine. As an example, the loss of the CTRL+E keyboard shortcut used to navigate to the Search bar (see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=626448) has lead to some confusion so far. So I'd like to suggest to make the keyboard shortcut assignment configurable in Firefox. In order to give a picture of the idea, I suggest the corresponding assignment dialog to have a look & feel similar to the keyboard shortcut assignment dialog used in Visual Studio > Tools > Options > Keyboard handling.
