Closed Bug 677102 Opened 14 years ago Closed 14 years ago

Everytime I try to delete an email, I get a prompt to compact, and my inbox freezes. I have to force the shutdown of the inbox then restart. When I reopen my inbox, the emails are deleted.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/535.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/13.0.782.107 Safari/535.1 Steps to reproduce: I try to delete or move an email, I get a prompt to compact the email, and my inbox freezes. I have to force a shutdown. When I reopen the inbox, the email is moved/deleted. Actual results: I try to delete or move an email, I get a prompt to compact the email, and my inbox freezes. I have to force a shutdown. When I reopen the inbox, the email is moved/deleted. Expected results: My email should be moved/deleted without freezing and requiring me to force a shutdown.
Does it hang without touching the prompt? xref Bug 605511
Yes. It freezes about the same time I try to touch the prompt. And I can't click on the "don't show this prompt again" box to stop the prompt from opening up (I am assuming it is the prompt that is freezing the inbox).
> Does it hang without touching the prompt? I think you mean no - it requires touching the prompt.
