(Keywords: regression)
Commercial Build: 2001020509 win/2001020512-on mac
Steps to reproduce:
Select multiple or single news messages in the thread pane or message pane
right click for context menu
context menu appears
Try to copy selected messages to one of the subfolders
Expected result: under copy to
fly out menu opens with different account levels with the folders and
subfolders respectively
Actual result: under copy to --> no fly out menu and cannot select any folders
or subfolders.
This was working before and is probably a regression bug.

Summary: Cannot copy or move using context menus → Cannot copy or move messages using context menus
Sigh, so this was reassigned to ben without resetting target milestone. I don't
think this will get done for mozilla0.9. Marking nsbeta1- also

removing nsbeta1- and added nsbeta1
I don't think our mailnews triage team ever had this hit the nominated list.
I'd like to see this evaluated since we've gotten several reports of this (see 3
duplicates within the last week).

dup of bug 67932 ?
Comment 13•24 years ago
|

This one is older and has more dups. Therefore bug 67932 should rather a dup of
this one. However, on the other hand 67932 has a more general summary (sigh).

If someone on XPToolkit could help out with this since Ben isn't around, that
would be great. I run into it every once and a while and I don't use context
menus very often. Someone who does will be very frustrated by this.

I no longer see this problem on todays build, Windows 2000 build 2001030804,
installer.
Note that I removed my old profile before installing.
Before I had the same problem with Composer, table context menu, table select /
table insert / table delete.

The problem re-appeared again.
Ben saw it on trund and we confirmed it.

Hm. I can't see the problem as reported in either a current Mozilla trunk build
on Windows 2000, or in 6.1.
What platform do you see this on?

I'm seeing this too.

Note that this problem not only affects Mail/News, I can see it in Composer
as well (try the submenus in the context menu for tables or table cells).
Trunk build 2001101121 on Linux.
