There is a regression in the search using ElasticSearch: filtering by branches or by plugin name/filename is not implemented. Need to be fixed, need to check if data is missing in ES to be able to do it.

I think branches are going away completely, so don't waste too much time on them. Plugin name/filename is important, though.

(In reply to Robert Kaiser (:kairo@mozilla.com) from comment #1) > I think branches are going away completely, so don't waste too much time on > them. Plugin name/filename is important, though. this will make it more difficult to research crashes by "collections" (eg branches) having to explicitly specify each version I want, like all 5.0* is a pain. And, I might not even know what all versions are for a given release.

(In reply to Wayne Mery (:wsmwk) from comment #3) > this will make it more difficult to research crashes by "collections" (eg > branches) Nobody is willing to maintain the code, and I rarely hear of anyone even investigating things that way. Also, with the new automatic version gathering, it's harder to do even gather this "branch" (actually platform version) data.

Is it possible, instead, to allow wildcard on the version field, eg 7.0* ... or some approximation?
