Android Tp4m regression on 2011-08-09
Tp4 Mobile regressed by about 20%: http://graphs-new.mozilla.org/graph.html#tests=[[85,63,20],[84,63,20]]&sel=1312921586190.2146,1312991904920.2346&displayrange=7&datatype=running Tp4m_nochrome did not regress, during the same time range. The regression range includes bug 671555 and bug 610834: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/pushloghtml?fromchange=aa0058c5cebf&tochange=ad7544a6078b This patch reverts bug 671555. I'm pushing it to Try to see if it fixes the regression.
For some reason there was no email to mozilla.dev.tree-management about this regression. Filed bug 678266 for this issue.
Pushed a second patch to try to back out bug 610834, in case that was the culprit: http://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Try&rev=b79160400dd9
Backing out bug 610834 fixed the regression on Try, so I pushed it to inbound: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/rev/6a9dabc3f3d1
Comment on attachment 552450 [details] [diff] [review] patch: disable Feedback extension on Nightly channel Obsoleting the feedback add-on patch. I should have realized the add-on probably wasn't to blame. The regression was Android only, but the add-on would have affected Maemo as well.
