User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
Build ID: 20110811165603

Steps to reproduce:

I have a new idea for Firefox. The feed reader functionality, called live bookmarks in FF jargon, are somewhat underdone. It would be great to have a visualization on how many news came in. I've created a picture concept: see JPG attached. If one clicks on the live bookmark, then the number should disappear. It should be also possible to change the refresh intervall of the live bookmarks. What do you think of the idea?

Summary: Improvements for Firefox Live Bookmarks → Indicate number of unread entries for each RSS feed
I second that idea. Also, a quick and easy way to make unread entries more recognizable would be to display them in bold characters on the bookmarks sidebar.
