User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
Build ID: 20110811165603

Steps to reproduce:

did an automatic update from firefox 5 to firefox 6.
Also loaded firefox in safe mode to trouble shoot (didn't help).

Actual results:

on firefox 6 when going to Addon Manager my installed addons don't show.
with MSG saying i don't have addons but some addons show on the tools section showing that still installed.

Expected results:

addon Manager should have loaded my addons with there Options as Normal

My addons don't show up at all, I get the addons tab and it sits there with "Loading..." on the screen forever.
Please attach a screenshot where we can see which category of addons you have selected.
If you're wondering what addons I have, I can't get a screenshot right now, it won't come up at all. I have a bunch that were inactive before the upgrade, however, but I don't remember what they all are. Watching the taskmgr, it's not using any CPU, it's not doing page faults, it's just sitting there waiting for ??? Oh, hey, you know what? After I switch to the extensions, and then plugins, it comes up (the entry page for addons, where you "Get Add-ons"). Interesting...
So, is it Bug 679604? Is it now fixed for you?
Fixed. Works for me now every time. I'm not sure why that initial "Get Add-ons" screen wouldn't load, now it won't fail though. I hate to go through all the "Clear cache, clear history, etc..." routine, just to try to reproduce that issue, but I will if you want. It's easily gotten around anyhow if all you gotta do is bring up one of the other (Extensions, Appearance or Plugins) pages after you have a tab opened for your "Add-ons Manager."
It is a known problem, even mentioned in the FF release notes:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/6.0/releasenotes/ . It only happens once when you upgrade from 5 to 6. After you click any category (extensions, plugins, etc) it no longer happens.
