Let's get a download button on this page asap, since we direct users there to see if their device is compatible.

Should be the same button and placement as used on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/mobile/features/

Linking them to the Android Marketplace might be more to the point, since the /platforms page doesn't cover Firefox Home

Jaclyn,

Can you provide a little more direction, currently this button reads, "Get Firefox for Mobile" so that both iOS and Android users can be taken quickly to the landing page.

Is that not the experience you would like to provide?

Would this bug be dependent on Bug 682375?  

Since the /platforms page doesn't cover iOS, I think it would be less confusing if it went straight to the Android download page (using the Get Firefox for Android button)

Jaclyn,

This bug is not dependent on any other bug. I filed it, because we should have a download button on all mobile pages and currently do not have a button on this page, which means the user has to figure out a way to get to the download page. 

My recommendation is to update this page with the same button and placement as used on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/mobile/features/ (this is the same design used across many other pages).

Because users come to this page through a variety of paths, including search engine referral it would be to our benefit to serve an experience to meet as many users as possible.

Otherwise, I would wait on this bug until you have resolved the bug I filed on cleaning up the button library and then determine how best to serve all users.

This bug was meant to be a nice quick update.

For now, I've added the same download button/text that we have on the Mobile Features (and other mobile sub-pages). This can be improved along with the other pages in Bug 682375, but it's a simple change in the meantime.
