The first fime i noticed this was on the thusrday morning build,
what i compiled it up from CVS this morning

Confirming with 2001020220 on Win2k, so OS and Platform should be ALL.
You can test this even without actually sending the message. Just "send later"
and have a look at the message in the "unsent messages" folder. Usually, the
mailing should get resolved, but doesn't.

Jean-Francois or Candice, can you reproduce this?
Using commercial build 20010226 on linux and winme lists are working for me.
Robert, can you check with a newer build.

I'm still seeing this with 2001030308 on Win2k.

If I enter the mailing list to the To: field via autocomplete or via the Address
button, I get
Name of Mailing List <"Name of Mailing List">
If I drag'n'drop the ML from the address book, I get
Name of Mailing List <>
Neither works - I always get the following error message:
An error occured while sending mail. The mail server responded: {mail04}
Complete address with domain, please. Please check the message recipients and
try again.

This has nothing to do with the number of recipients contained in the list. Even
a list of 1 recipient doesn't work for me.

Mailing lists work fine for me with a fresh profile.
Which files/parts of files could I delete to possibly get mailing lists to work
again?

This problem does not seem to be address book-specific: Creating a new address
book with a new mailing list still doesn't work with my old profile.

I see this also in 2001041804

I see this in 2001042515 (linux). list <DoIT> bounces back as
doit@freaky-namuh.com (my domain-name).
Seems to think the list name is an actual email address. List was created with
only List Name, no Nickname or Description.

Reopening. The original bug was that the mailing list name does not get
"translated" to the set of email addresses, wheras the problem Ashley is seeing
is indeed a dup of bug 65201.

This seems to be fixed with the 2001050404 Win32 build on Win2k (probably this
is a dupe of bug 78410).
Robert, could you try with a recent build an see if this is fixed for you as well?

Marking dupe. Robert, please reopen if you still see this bug with a recent
trunk or 0.9.1 build.
