Details
On August, 23th, Oracle released Java 1 SE 6 update 27 that improves the performance and stability and add the certification for Firefox 5. Plugin check must be updated to the latest version of Java.

also updated plugincheck for mac, since apple has released a update for 10.6.8 and 10.7
