I just ran WAVE on addons.mozilla.org and got 195 things we could fix. Probably some false positives.

I don't know if anyone can recommend an accessibility checking tool that they prefer.
satdav are you tracking web site a11y bugs?
Quite a few of these are already file, eg:

  764598 - Images is missing alt attribute
  764605 - The use of the footer-element in forms is not correct
  765147 - Required input fields should have a required and aria-required attribute
  765187 - Add attributes on linked icons to enhance accessibility.
  764345 - Improve accessibility on the search module
  765461 - The section element is not allowed as a child element of ul
  764328 - mozilla-tab.png is missing the alt-attribute
  764321 - Other applications link is not keyboard accessible
  752481 - [Market place] Add alt text to images for single app display
