I find the portrait-mode onscreen keyboard in Android easier to use than the landscape. Thus, I often run into this sequence: 0. Begin with the tablet in landscape mode. 1. Focus a text field: either an on-page one or the address bar. 2. Begin typing using the onscreen keyboard. 3. Find that your thumbs can't reach the middle keys and rotate to portrait mode to continue typing. I expect the keyboard to remain visible, my insertion point position to be maintained, and the text field to retain focus. However, none of these happen. Surprise! :-D This is on the 9/14/2011 nightly.
