Steps to reproduce:

Upgraded to v. 6.0.2

Doesn't show google ical which it had previously.

Expected results:

Eileen, is this still an issue using the recently released Lightning 1.0 (compatible with Thunderbird 8)?
It does seem to be holding with one of my google calendars. For the other I've started using a tab to open google calendar in Thunderbird direct, because TB was not updating the calendar, - but I'm not sure if this is TB or google to be honest. The tab seems to be unproblematic at the moment. Thanks, E
I had something like that in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=598083 and it seems now that a later bug report https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=604227 is an adequate fit.

1. Add Google Calendar which is only busy/available
2. It continuously asks for the password.

I have TBird 10.0 downloaded 10Feb2012 from mozilla. Lightning 1.2.1 with GData (Provider for Google Calendar 0.9)

I think the bug should be considered CONFIRMED however, this bug report could merge with https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=604227 to de-duplicate.
