Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0
Build ID: 20110922153450

Steps to reproduce:

I have thunderbird to set to send emails in the background.
I reply to an email, and then immediately move the email to a subfolder.

Actual results:

The email never gets marked with a "Replied" icon if it is moved before the outbox email is sent out.

Expected results:

It should have a "Replied" icon next to email after the reply has been sent.

I guess it is not marked "replied-to" only if it was moved *before* it was sent. Because it works for me when I send it before it is saved (the normal behavior)
Bug 128996 and its duplicates have more discussion.

User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20110929 Thunderbird/7.0.1

Just to clarify I'm not talking about drafts/saved messages. Follow these steps:

1) Make sure you're thunderbird is set to send emails in the background

2) Click "Reply" on any email

3) Write an email and click "Send".

4) Immediately (within a second or two) move the email that you were replying to into a subfolder (such as "Work Stuff")

5) The email (now in "Work Stuff" folder) never gets marked as "replied to"
Are these folders local, or imap folders ?

If may help, I noticed this problem "Reply icon missing", which don't get set after replying a message. But I wouldn't say it's related to moving the message.

My problem happened when I just sent the message, without manually moving it. All my messages goes automatically to default "sent itens", I never changed nor interfere with that.

What I think may be related is that I changed "mailnews.sendInBackground=true". As I'm used to Outlook, I usually want to go back to inbox or other folder (therefore using ALT+TAB), leaving the software sending it in background. So, I think, this somehow may be related to the problem...

Hope it help SW developers.

My system:
Thunderbird 24.2.0 (currently updated)
Windows 8.1 Pro
IMAP account
Sorry, wrong dependency setting. Removing.
No longer depends on: 667950
