Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:10.0a1) Gecko/20111003 Firefox/10.0a1 Build ID: 20111003080738 Steps to reproduce: Started typing entry, e.g., Google into location bar, auto complete entries show up as expected. Tried to use up and down arrows to select entries. Actual results: autocomplete entries do not proceed in order. if you click down, it does not go to next entry on the list; instead, it proceeds in what appears to be a random order, and only allows for the selecting of maybe 3-4 entries on the list Expected results: it should proceed logically in order. if it is meant to pick what it THINKS you want, this needs to be a disable-able option, and it REALLY doesn't work.
there is presently no workaround, other than to use your mouse, which is clearly not sufficient.
Severity: normal → major
Hardware: x86 → x86_64
i should also mention that it was working until RELATIVELY recently, and I will try to pinpoint the date at which it started. (from my memory, I think it might've begun once nightly jumped to 10.x)

normally i'd apologize for missing the duplicate, but never would have found that one. thanks for the mark. looking forward to the resolution (and parenthetically, i'm very glad it wasn't some intentional tab order switching like in pidgin)
