Steps to replicate:
- Create new email
- Insert/Table - OK (a table is created as the very first email element)

The cursor cannot be placed _before_ or _above_ the table => no text can be added before this table

There is at least one bug on this already (not in a position to check now)
So is this really a bug ?
The editor did exactly what you asked, and that was to insert a table.
There is no html element before it to focus on.

The simple workaround is to press enter first before inserting the table.
Bug=no Usability issue..Yes very much so. But just a minor one amongst many.
There are a myriad of these tricks required to effectively compose an html message.
