This has been happening at random since I installed the beta. The problem is intermittent with low probability. Sometimes, when I fetch new messages headers in a newsgroup.  I see a sensible unread count.  But then, maybe related to visiting the newsgroup, all the headers become unread, and the unread count goes way up.

I can't reproduce this.  At first I thought it was a one time thing for each newsgroup, but I believe I'm seeing repeat occurrences.

Thanks.  I really did try to search before opening this, but I clearly missed that one, which is exactly what I am seeing.
