Actual results:
Tasks are not displayed in week, month, ... view in lightning.
There is a old bug (Bug 157274) for this but it only concerns sunbird.
Expected results:
At least an option "would you display this task in calendar view" should be available when you create a task.

Already possible. To display tasks in the main calendar view:
1) set a valid start and due date for the task
2) enable menu View > Calendar > Current View > Display Tasks in View
